R. A. Dickie on Kansas City's Pitcher's Mound Today.

By Tim Pafford

There are not many times you can see a history maker in action right here in Kansas City.  But today, on April 13th, you can go to The "K" and watch a history making pitcher in action.
Last year R. A. Dickie won 20 games with the New York Mets and became the 1st "knuckle ball" pitcher to win the Cy Young Award in baseball history.

The Knuckle Ball is as tricky to hit as it is to master the throwing of.  Dickie has spent much of his life perfecting the pitch on the professional level all while fighting the demons of his past that have repeatedly desired to take his joy and talents away from him.

Come see a dream story in action today.  You won't regret it.

But, for those who didn't make it to the game I have posted a link to the YouTube posting of the game here.
