Pictures of a Growing Team in Kansas City

By Tim Pafford

With the Royals all the way out in California, many of us in Kansas City find ourselves loosing track of our team.  The games start when we are used to tuning in for the the mid-way point until the exciting end.  But now we are not able to stay awake because we have jobs to wake up for in the morning.   We check the high lights and box scores in the morning, and find ourselves saddened and missing the in-person experience of the game.
Due to this heartache, and temporary loss, I want to post a few of the pictures that I have been collecting this season.  It will help us remember our times at the park, and to look forward to getting the team back in Kansas City for the 21st where they take on the Arizona D-Backs (This will also give my wife a chance to see Willie Bloomquist play again here in Kansas City and get a "retro" t-shirt.)

This is still a year of growing.  But it has been a year of thrilling ball games and amazing plays by new players and veterans alike in the great ball game.  We still need a stronger starting rotation, but the vast improvements in other departments has made Kansas City baseball fun to see again.
